As promised, here are some pictures of my newest model. It is a LEGO Semi Tractor Trialer using elements form set 3180 Tanker Truck. The trailer is basically unchanged except for the fact that I added a tow hitch so another trailer could be pulled behind it to form a roadtrain.
I had first built a smaller truck, but decided to make it bigger so that it would be more realistic.
The tractor part of the semi is basically totally remodeled. There is a sleeper compartment behind the driver where he can take a snooze after a long trip. the new version also handles better than the regular set due to the extended compartment where the engine sits. Although it is still just a prototype, (you can tell by seeing all of the different colors of bricks), It will soon be the mightiest hauler in all of LEGO® City.
